AUTOMATIC WRAPPING MACHINE APM40
This Automatic Wrapping Machine type APM40 is specially designed for wrapping dry ice slices and/or blocks with a standard size of up to 210 mm x 125 mm and 20 - 25 mm thickness (other sizes are available on request).
To guarantee best and continuous wrapping of slices, our flowpack system offers food grade handling of the produced slices until the end of the line. All contact surfaces within the machine are made in stainless steel. A specially designed buffer/feeder consisting of a synthetic tracking system, stainless steel components and air pressure controlled pushers, is a reliable device to pass the fragile dry ice slices from the dry ice unit BP407-S7 onto the wrapping unit. To wrap a product at -79°C for hours continuously, needs a special, superior machine design.

The machine is supplied with:
- Main frame manufactured in anticorrosive steel plates painted RAL 9007
- Stainless steel side covers (AISI 304)

Automatic product feeding system at 90°
The feeding system is suitable for receiving the ice blocks from the production machine and introducing them, step by step, into the conveyor of the packaging machine. Pneumatic synchronization system controlled by photocell complete with transfer accelerating device. The feeding system is placed at 90° to the chain conveyor of the packaging machine to gain space.
