ASCO establishes a US subsidiary

To ensure optimal customer service in the USA and Canada, the Swiss company ASCO KOHLENSÄURE AG established its US subsidiary, ASCO CARBON DIOXIDE INC (ASCO Inc.), based in Jacksonville, Florida, in July this year. The aim of ASCO Inc. is to strengthen its market position in the dry ice blasting and dry ice production sectors.

For decades, ASCO has been the go-to partner for dry ice cleaning and setting up in-house dry ice production. Customers in North America will now also be able to benefit from this extensive expertise through a local branch.

Managing Director Marco Pellegrino explains why the decision was made to establish an American subsidiary: “Proximity to customers is a crucial factor for long-term success and one of the most important cornerstones of ASCO’s corporate culture. We will be investing primarily in building an active dealer network across various US regions and densely populated Canadian provinces such as Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Alberta and British Columbia. In this way, ASCO ensures optimal on-site customer support through dedicated, well-trained staff.”

Having grown up in the Sunshine State of Florida, long-standing ASCO employee Dan Gruber, as General Manager of ASCO Inc. and an experienced sales specialist in the field of CO₂ equipment and applications, will oversee the implementation of these strategic goals. “ASCO Inc. offers significant added value to American and Canadian customers. A locally established and well-supported dealer network allows for optimal alignment with individual customer needs regarding the rapid availability of CO₂ machines and CO₂ systems. As almost all parties involved are in similar time zones, overlaps due to time differences are largely avoided. Like the headquarters in Romanshorn, Switzerland, ASCO Inc. is also available to its customers from morning to evening as a key point of contact for the implementation of their respective projects,” says Dan Gruber.
