BUSE UK boosts dry ice production with the ASCO Pelletizer P28i

"BUSE has ambitious plans to start supplying dry ice on a large scale. We approached ESL to discuss our requirements, and following a consultation, we ordered an ASCO Pelletizer P28i, which can produce up to 280 kg of dry ice per hour – a real turning point for us. We were so impressed that we immediately ordered a second dry ice machine to further increase production,” says Victor Petrescu, Technical Manager at BUSE.

"The biggest challenge was connecting the dry ice machine to an outdoor CO₂ tank," explains the ESL installation team, who expertly laid the vacuum-tight piping from the CO₂ tank and connected it to the ASCO Pelletizer P28i indoors. The P28i is installed in a well-ventilated room that complies with health and safety regulations.

With the installation of the ASCO Pelletizer P28i, BUSE is able to produce large quantities of dry ice and supply it to its customer base. The machine features an internet connection with world-leading Siemens technology, enabling remote monitoring to ensure optimum performance and availability at all times.  Furthermore, thanks to this advanced Siemens technology, the ASCO Pelletizer P28i requires minimal operator intervention. The dry ice snow process guarantees continuous dry ice production from the moment the instant start button is pressed.

BUSE can now produce its own dry ice in large quantities of up to 280 kg/hr, and a second machine has already been ordered to further increase dry ice production.
