My name is Hugo Grossard and I have been working as Managing Director at “PUROXUS AIR & WATER SOLUTIONS” since 2022.

Describe the company. What is its core business?
“PUROXUS AIR & WATER SOLUTIONS” is a company based in Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin in the French West Indies. Our core business is divided into two areas: dry ice blasting and dry ice production. We specialise in the use of advanced technologies to provide efficient, environmentally friendly cleaning solutions and food-grade dry ice for a wide range of applications. In addition, we offer comprehensive services, including active air treatment, disaster management for fire, water or other damage, and air maintenance in public and private buildings.
Let’s look a little more closely at dry ice production. What is the dry ice mainly used for, and who are your typical customers?
The dry ice produced by “PUROXUS AIR & WATER SOLUTIONS” is mainly used for food preservation, spectacular culinary presentations and refrigerated transport. Typical customers include restaurants, bars, hotels, caterers, logistics companies and medical laboratories.
What has been your experience so far with the ASCO Pelletizer P15i?
Our experience with the ASCO dry ice pelletizer P15i has been extremely positive, despite a few minor issues and misunderstandings during the delivery and commissioning of the machine. This system enables us to produce high-quality dry ice with great efficiency and to perfectly meet the diverse requirements of our customers. The reliability and performance of the pelletiser have helped us maintain our high production standards.
You also offer dry ice blasting. How popular is this cleaning method in the French Antilles and what are the most common applications?
Dry ice blasting is becoming increasingly popular in the French Antilles. The most common applications include cleaning wooden structures, restoring historic buildings, and maintaining industrial facilities and vehicles. This method is highly valued for its efficiency, its environmental friendliness, and its ability to clean without damaging surfaces.
What are your day-to-day challenges?
Our day-to-day challenges include raising market awareness of the benefits of dry ice blasting, managing the logistics of dry ice deliveries across multiple islands, and continuously adapting our services to the specific needs of our customers. We also need to ensure that our team is well trained and that our equipment remains in perfect condition.
What ideas and goals do you have for the future of “PUROXUS AIR & WATER SOLUTIONS”?
Our goals for the future include expanding our dry ice blasting services to new regions of the French Antilles, increasing our dry ice production capacity, and diversifying our products and services to better meet our customers’ needs. We also intend to invest in even more advanced technologies to improve our efficiency and environmental sustainability.
