ASCO CO₂ Recovery System from Dry Ice Production (RRSi)

The ASCO RRSi has been specifically designed to recover CO₂ gas that would otherwise be released unused into the atmosphere during dry ice production from pellet and block machines.

In conventional dry ice production, only 40–45% of the CO₂ used is converted into dry ice, whilst 55–60% is lost. With an ASCO RRSi, the majority of the CO₂ can be recovered, increasing the conversion rate to 90–95%.

Specifications

Characteristics

Highest conversion rate

Increases the conversion rate of LCO₂ into dry ice to up to 95%, significantly above the market standard.

Doubled dry ice output

More dry ice with the same amount of LCO₂ – up to 100% higher production.

Reduction in production costs

Reduces the cost of dry ice production by over 50%.

Suitable for food use

The recovered CO₂ is returned to the storage tank without contamination – making it suitable for food and beverage applications.

State-of-the-art technology

Remote monitoring and diagnostics integrated as standard – maximum process control and easy maintenance.

Sustainable & eco-friendly

Helps to reduce the carbon footprint and makes efficient use of resources.
