The total working time for the restoration was three weeks and around 1600 kg of dry ice was used. Company owner Kurt Schneider is very satisfied with the dry ice blasting machine, as he tells us in an interview: "The ASCOJET 1708 Combi Blaster is a top machine". He did not even have to clean with additive, because the dry ice itself removed all the lime coating.
The ASCOJET 1708 Combi Blaster is an ASCO dry ice blasting unit which can dose an additional blasting material (so-called additive) into the dry ice stream and thus offers the optimal combination of gentle cleaning with dry ice pellets and the additional abrasive effect, for example sand.
The company Kurt Schneider is based in Liechtenstein and offers various industrial services, such as dry ice blasting. The fields of application of dry ice blasting are diverse. Kurt Schneider cleans a wide range of dirt from window shutters or garage doors to applications in the food industry.
