ASCO launches new EVO-Series of dry ice pelletizers

With its ‘EVO-Series’, ASCO Kohlensäure AG is setting new standards in dry ice production. The series features a newly developed hydraulic unit and an improved housing design, which reduce the operating noise level to an average of 65 dB(A). Furthermore, a light signal column – integrated for the first time to facilitate status checks on the pelletiser – and optimised software enhance user-friendliness.

 

High-performance dry ice production with reduced operating noise levels 

Thanks to the newly designed hydraulic unit and the optimally soundproofed housing, the EVO-Series reduces noise levels by over 20% compared to the previous model, to an average of 65 dB(A). This significantly improves working conditions by minimising noise levels in the workplace. The EVO-Series thus meets the highest standards of comfort and occupational safety regulations. 

Intelligent technology for maximum user-friendliness: Smart Signal and intuitive software

The EVO-Series impresses with advanced technology for simple and efficient operation. A new quick-release system on the pelletizers facilitates access for maintenance and enables simple and rapid handling. The innovative Smart Signal combines a four-colour signal light with an integrated warning siren, allowing the current operating status to be identified quickly and clearly from a distance. The standardised colour coding clearly indicates whether the machine is in production, ready for operation, or in a fault or prompt mode.

This is complemented by intuitive software with a user-friendly interface. A clear structure and simple controls on the touch panel help the operator to adjust production capacities precisely and flexibly. Frequently used production quantities can be conveniently saved as favourites and accessed via a quick selection. Additionally, additional functions and machine combinations can be easily configured via predefined interfaces. This combination of visual feedback from the Smart Signal and intuitive controls ensures an optimal user experience. 

Launch and ordering options for the EVO series

The new EVO series will be available to order from 12 February 2025, initially for the P15 and P28 dry ice pelletisers. The new standard will also be extended to other ASCO dry ice production machines in the future.
