Cleaning time reduced to a fraction of what it used to be.

Instead of removing the parts, washing them by hand in a small-parts cleaner and then refitting them, the 34 workpiece carriers are cleaned with dry ice directly on the production line. Together with the manufacturer of the production system, Festo and ASCO have developed a cleaning solution that is permanently integrated into the line and controlled via the production system. Today, the manual effort is limited to connecting the ASCOJET dry ice blasting unit and filling it with dry ice pellets. In three passes, the workpiece carriers are automatically stripped of oil residues. This results in a perfect, uniform cleaning result without the need to dispose of any cleaning medium.
