The ASCO BP425i dry ice machine produces pellets and discs
The automatic “ASCO BP425i dry ice machine” produces 10 different disc thicknesses and 2 different pellet sizes at the touch of a button. It is now possible to produce dry ice blocks weighing up to 5 kg (dimensions in mm: 210 x 125 x 125). ASCO decided to expand its dry ice technology in response to increased market demand for larger dry ice blocks.
All tools and extruder plates for the production of the various dry ice discs/blocks, as well as for the optionally available dry ice pellets (up to 2 sizes, either 3, 6, 10 or 16 mm), are integrated into the machine and can be controlled automatically via a touch screen.
The automatic “ASCO BP425i dry ice machine” is part of the new i-Series generation and is equipped with state-of-the-art remote maintenance technology. This provides the customer with a wide range of options in the areas of remote access, remote data and remote management. Whether for fast and efficient troubleshooting and machine maintenance or for the collection of production and performance data – the ASCO i-Series offers a range of options for combining Industry 4.0 with dry ice production. The conversion rate of the dry ice machine can be significantly increased using an ASCO CO2 recovery system.
Marco Pellegrino, Managing Director of ASCO KOHLENSÄURE AG, explains: “The new BP425i dry ice machine completes our comprehensive range and meets market demand for larger dry ice discs and blocks. The combination of dry ice pellet and disc/block production in a single machine continues to be highly valued and in great demand by our customers. Enhanced with the latest IoT features, we are delighted to be able to present a future-proof
dry ice machine.”
