ASCO CO₂ Stack Gas Recovery System (SGR)

ASCO CO₂ stack gas recovery systems (SGR) are specifically designed for processes in which CO₂ is produced as a stack gas – for example, in power stations, biogas plants or industrial combustion processes. Instead of releasing the CO₂ unused into the atmosphere, the technology enables the gas to be efficiently recovered and processed into high-purity, liquid CO₂.

Thanks to the energy-efficient ASCOSORB technology, thermal energy consumption is significantly reduced, leading to lower operating costs. Furthermore, the oxygen-resistant absorbent ensures a long service life and reliable performance – even with flue gas sources containing oxygen.

The recovered CO₂ meets ISBT specifications as well as other food and beverage standards and can be reused in a variety of ways – for example in the food industry, in dry ice production or in technical applications.
