CO2 Recovery
as a By-Product
In many industrial processes, high-purity CO₂ is already produced as a valuable by-product. Instead of allowing this to escape unused into the atmosphere, recovery offers an economically and environmentally attractive solution: the available CO₂ is captured, purified, liquefied and then used for the company’s own production processes or for sale. This lowers operating costs, reduces emissions and strengthens companies’ independence from external CO₂ supply chains.

Biogas Plants
In biogas processing, particularly in biomethane production, CO₂ is separated from the raw gas stream – usually to a high degree of purity. Instead of venting it, it can be recovered and made available for industrial applications.
Food & Beverage Industry
During alcoholic fermentation – for example, in breweries, distilleries or in industrial ethanol production – CO₂ is naturally produced in a highly pure form. This by-product can be easily recovered, filtered and reused as a valuable process gas, for example for carbonation, packaging or cooling.
Gas Industry
Various separation and processing steps in gas production already generate high-purity CO₂ streams. Using modern recovery systems, this by-product can be liquefied directly and reused as a marketable industrial gas. The result: efficient use of existing resources and added value without any additional operational costs.
Chemical Industry
Many chemical manufacturing processes generate high-purity CO₂ as an unavoidable by-product. A prominent example is ammonia production, where large quantities of CO₂ are reliably produced during gas treatment. Thanks to modern recovery technologies, this gas can be captured cost-effectively and reused within the value chain.
