Mario Halter, Head of Customer Service at ASCO CARBON DIOXIDE LTD
You recently joined us as “Head of Customer Service”, welcome to the ASCO team! What are the most important stages of your career to date?
Thank you very much. After completing my apprenticeship as a “Polymechanic EFZ” and graduating as a “Technician HF in Business Processes”, I was able to gain valuable experience in various positions. I first worked as a “Technical Salesman”. This was followed by a position as “Senior Key Account Manager” in a precision manufacturing company in the Rheintal. I am now looking forward to contributing my experience and knowledge to ASCO as “Head of Customer Service”.
What are your main tasks as “Head of Customer Service”?
I see it as my central task to offer our customers optimum support. This should ensure customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Another important task for me is to achieve our sales targets. This enables our company to achieve the desired growth. What is also essential for me is a good, cross-departmental working atmosphere. Employees should feel comfortable and valued at all times.
What aspects of the position appealed to you? What is your motivation?
What appealed to me most was the opportunity to enter a market segment that is very interesting for me personally. I am fascinated by the technology behind it. I also appreciate the customer communication and the opportunity to offer our customers an appropriate service. I see my role as an opportunity to further develop my personal and business interests.
What fascinates you most about our main business of dry ice production and CO₂ recovery?
What fascinates me most, as I have just mentioned, is the technology behind it. Because I have a technical background, I am very enthusiastic about it. As we cover the entire portfolio from CO₂ recovery to processing, this gives an even deeper and more exciting insight into the whole business. For me personally, the communication with the respective interest groups is also interesting. As we operate in a niche market, we have to deal with diverse personalities.
What is your impression of ASCO so far?
I am delighted to be part of this great team. My first impressions are extremely positive and I am delighted with the professional and friendly atmosphere that prevails here. I was particularly impressed by the open communication and everyone's willingness to support each other. I am convinced that I can learn and develop a lot here. I see the challenges that lie ahead as exciting opportunities to be successful together. I look forward to contributing my skills and experience and developing innovative solutions with my new colleagues.
Thank you very much for the interview, here's to a good collaboration!
Thank you too.
