Cleaning time reduced to a fraction

Instead of removing, washing by hand in the small parts cleaner, and then reinstalling, the 34 workpiece carriers are cleaned directly on the line with dry ice.Together with the manufacturer of the production line, Festo and ASCO have developed a cleaning solution that is permanently integrated into the line and controlled by the production line. Today the manual effort is limited to connecting the ASCOJET dry ice blasting unit and filling with dry ice pellets. The workpiece carriers are automatically cleaned of oil residues in three passes. This results in a perfect, uniform cleaning result without having to dispose of a cleaning medium.
