The technology is based on the "Dry Ice Machine BP420i" which has been successful for many years and will remain in the ASCO portfolio. The new and more powerful "Dry Ice Machine BP425i" can produce dry ice slices up to 125 mm / 4.9 in thickness (weight per slice: 5 kg / 11 lb) and optionally two different pellet sizes.
ASCOJET 1708 Combi Blaster proves its worth in landmarked building refurbishment
During the renovation of an old station building, the Kurt Schneider company, which has been operating since 1988, used the newly acquired ASCOJET 1708 Combi Blaster. They were blasting with freshly produced dry ice from ASCO Carbon Dioxide LTD. Before the lime coating was renewed, the brickwork had to be exposed. The biggest challenge during the renovation was to remove the old lime coating without damaging the underlying structure, as the building is listed as a historic monument.
