ASCO Carbon Dioxide Ltd. is continuously committed to maintain occupational safety at the highest level – including in the area of measurable reduction of noise emissions. To ensure an optimal working environment the specially designed insulations and housings are used from now on as standard for the «ASCO Dry Ice Pelletizer P75i» and «Dry Ice Machines BP420i & BP425i».

ASCO talked with Ms. Alexandra Kletzsch, Managing Director of Thermapack GmbH and founder & Managing Director of kompackt61 GmbH. She introduces us to the resource-efficient alternative to conventional logistics options and provides insights into the services offered of both companies.

ASCO had a conversation with Jacek Bulawa, Head of the Technology and Applications Department at "Messer Polska". The Messer site operates several ASCO machines. Among others, three CO2 Vaporizers, an ASCOJET and, as the newest machine, an ASCO Dry Ice Pelletizer P28i.

ASCO interviewed Philippe Lehmann, managing director of CO2 Energie AG and Head of Department at Regionalwerke AG Baden. As a joint venture, they have realised Carbon Capture for a biogas plant for the first time in Switzerland. At the Nesselnbach site, in addition to biomethane, CO2 is now also produced for various applications such as the beverage industry.

Johannes Daum is head of production and sales at CarbAlpin, a well-known player on the Italian CO₂ market. CarbAlpin was founded with the aim of simplified access to fresh dry ice for customers from South Tyrol and Trentino. In addition to the dry ice business, they also specialize in the filling of technical- and food gas. CarbAlpin's main customers include around 130 wineries as well as companies in the refrigerated logistics, food and pharmaceutical industries.

ASCO Carbon Dioxide Ltd. was successfully recertified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015 by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) at the beginning of 2023. The new certificate is valid until 30 April 2026. Quality management has been a tradition for years at the CO2 specialist at its main site in Romanshorn (Switzerland).

The UK's first high efficiency power plant connected with ASCO carbon capturing equipment is currently under construction in Rhodesia, Worksop, in Nottinghamshire. ASCO Carbon Dioxide is supplying the CO₂ recovery and processing equipment, which will capture and utilize four tons of liquid CO₂ per hour ("Carbon Capture & Utilization" or “CCU”).

Wesley O'Brien is the co-founder and head of logistics for “Frozen Logistics”, one of the largest cold storage and logistics companies in Texas, USA. Frozen Logistics was founded in 2020 with the goal of meeting the growing demand for cold storage, related order fulfillment and general logistics management in Texas and throughout the US. Their clients include food and beverage companies, schools and hospitals, e-commerce providers and national temperature-controlled transportation companies.
