ASCO CARBON DIOXIDE LTD is pleased to present a significant innovation in the field of Dry Ice Pelletizers. The newly developed extruder plate for the models P15i, P28i and P55i enables the production of 1.7 mm dry ice micro pellets, which are used in particular for dry ice blasting. The 1.7 mm dry ice pellets complement the existing sizes of 3, 10 and 16 mm.
As "Head of Product Management", Alex Schmidt always has an overview of ASCO's product range and is involved in all product innovations in the "dry ice" sector. In addition to the 3 mm, 10 mm and 16 mm extruder plates, ASCO pelletizers have recently been able to produce 1.7 mm pellets. A new extruder plate has been specially developed for this purpose, which produces optimum dry ice pellets for dry ice blasting due to its special properties. Alex Schmidt explains the background to the latest ASCO development in an interview.
