As its newest service, Crystal Dry Ice also offers dry ice blasting services with the ASCOJET 1708. The company more than just a dry ice supplier for its customers. As a result, the company is very service oriented and is proud of its satisfied customer base.
ASCO has talked to Deon Roux, CEO and Business Owner of Dry Ice International Company in South Africa. The company has been the leading dry ice supplier since 1994 in South Africa. ASCO has recently supplied a Dry Ice Pelletizer P28i to this customer and we are interested to learn more about the company, its business field and the use of dry ice in South Africa in general.
ASCOs customer The Modern Acetylene & Oxygen Company Ltd. in Sudan has recently bought two ASCO Dry Ice Pelletizers P28i to supply high quality dry ice to their local market. The Sudanese company and ASCO have been maintaining a pleasant collaboration and long business relationship for many years. Their factory includes not only a dry ice production but they also operate three ASCO CO2 Production Plants to supply CO2 to the African beverage industry.
At the end of 2021, 336 solar panels were installed on the roof of the ASCO production site in Eschlikon (Switzerland) for the generation of green electricity through solar radiation. The expected annual yield of the solar system has been calculated at 111'300 kWh.
Gas company BUSE is a leading supplier in both the Industrial and Specialty Gas Markets. BUSE in the United Kingdom approached ASCO Partner, Ecoblast Supplies Ltd (ESL), to install a complex set up to expand their dry ice production up to 280 kg per hour.

Since 2016 light metal foundry Bad Langensalza GmbH in Germany is cleaning their casting molds on a daily basis with the dry ice blasting unit ASCOJET 1701. The dry ice pellets required for blasting are produced on site by the company itself using an ASCO Dry Ice Pelletizer A120P. Thus, LGL light metal foundry in Bad Langensalza is one of the first customers to use a rental pelletizer (ASCO Carefree) in the factory.
